REFLECTIONS ON BEING HUMAN

Room to wonder.
Space to be.

On understanding ourselves, meeting one another
and noticing the life that is already here.

WELCOME TO FREE SPIRIT NOW

Not another way you
ought to be.

Free Spirit Now is a place for the ordinary, complicated business of being human: relationships, healing, empathy, self-understanding and the things that make us stop and wonder.

Psychology and grounded spirituality meet lived experience here. So do neurodiversity, questions of fairness, and the occasional raised eyebrow at a very confident spiritual claim.

You can enjoy something beautiful and still be struggling. Find meaning without being certain. Laugh at an idea while taking the person seriously. There is room for all of that.

FROM THE JOURNAL

Care, curiosity.
And a little irreverence.

HUMOUR HAS A HOME HERE

Even wonder can
have a sense of humour.

SHE, The Spiritual Warrior, SHOMO and The Empath meet the ordinary world. It doesn’t always cooperate.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORDS

Hello, I’m Leigh.

My degree-level training in person-centred therapy has shaped FSN deeply. I’m interested in creating room for people to discover their own understanding, at their own pace.

Free Spirit Now is where I bring that curiosity together with lived experience and photography. I’m interested in what helps us feel heard, what keeps us apart, and what we might notice when we stop rushing towards an answer.

Understanding behaviour does not mean excusing harm. There is room here for empathy, boundaries, honesty and accountability.

Curious, not certain.
Experienced, not expert.
Inviting, not instructing.
