I think what we want from life can change.
There may have been times when I wanted more excitement, more achievement, more certainty, more approval.
These days, some of the things that matter most feel much quieter.
To feel safe enough to be myself.
To have relationships where love doesn’t have to be constantly measured or questioned.
To experience peace without feeling I have to earn it, manufacture it or hold everything together first.
Not because ambition, excitement or growth no longer matter.
Just because perhaps, after enough noise, we begin to notice the value of what doesn’t demand so much from us.
Safety.
Trust.
Ease.
Room to breathe.
And maybe that isn’t asking for less from life.
Maybe it’s becoming clearer about what actually feels like living.
